Brick & Paver Driveways

A paver driveway has to carry the weight of your vehicles every day. We install new brick and paver driveways and repair ones that have rutted, sunk, or come loose.

Built for the weight it carries

A driveway is the hardest-working paved surface at most homes. Cars and trucks press down on it every day, plows and shovels scrape it all winter, and frost tries to lift it every spring. A brick or paver driveway handles that well when the base underneath is built for the load.

When a paver driveway fails, it usually shows up as ruts in the tire paths, sunken areas, pavers that rock or break, or edges that spread. Those are base and edge problems, and fixing them means going below the surface.

WOW is full masonry experts, from minor repairs to major renovations and full installations and rebuilds. We can repair and relay damaged sections, replace broken pavers, or install a new brick or paver driveway, and you'll get a clear estimate before any work begins.

Repair or replace?

Signs your paver driveway needs work

  • Ruts in the tire paths

Grooves where the wheels run mean the base under those pavers has compressed.

  • Sunken areas

Low spots that hold water or ice usually point to a base or drainage problem.

  • Cracked or broken pavers

Pavers that crack under load should be replaced before the damage spreads.

  • Pavers shifting or spreading

Gaps that open up, or edges that drift out, mean the edge restraint or joints have failed.

  • Heaving after winter

Sections pushed up by frost can catch shovels and plows.

  • Water running toward the garage or house

A driveway that drains the wrong way should be corrected.

How it works

Look first. Then build it right.

No guesswork and no surprises. You know what's wrong and what it costs before any work begins. If we uncover more damage, we stop and get your approval first.

  1. 1

    Look first

We look at the driveway, the base, the edges, and drainage, and photograph what we find.

  2. 2

    Plan & estimate

We recommend a repair, relay, or new driveway and give you a clear estimate before any work begins.

  3. 3

    Base, then brick

The base is built or corrected for vehicle loads, edges are secured, and the pavers are laid and set.

  4. 4

    Finish & clean up

Joints are filled, the surface is finished, and the site is cleaned up.

More FAQs
Can you fix the ruts in my paver driveway without replacing it?

Often, yes. The affected pavers can usually be lifted, the base corrected, and the pavers relaid. If the base has failed across the whole driveway, we'll tell you.

Do you install new brick and paver driveways?

Yes. We do new installations as well as repairs, relays, and rebuilds.

Can you match my existing pavers?

When we relay your own pavers, they match. For replacements, we match as closely as available materials allow.

How much does a paver driveway cost?

It depends on size, layout, site conditions, and materials, so we don't quote without seeing it. You'll get a clear estimate before any work begins.
