Every WOW chimney job starts here, and your chimney cleaning is included. In one visit we clean the flue, check your chimney top to bottom, photograph every issue we find, and walk you through what's urgent, what can wait, and what each repair will cost.
Chimney problems are hard to judge from the ground. A crack that looks small from the driveway can be letting water into the whole chimney, and a stain on the ceiling might start at flashing several feet away. Guessing leads to the wrong repair, or to paying for work you didn't need.
Our 60-point inspection takes the guesswork out, and it includes cleaning the chimney. We clear soot, creosote, and debris from the flue, then check the flue, brick, mortar, crown, cap, and flashing up close and photograph every issue we find. Then we go through the photos with you: what's urgent, what can wait, and what each repair will cost.
The inspection is a paid visit, and the price of any repair comes before the work. If the answer is a small repair instead of a full rebuild, we'll say so. You'll know the next steps before we leave.

Inside the inspection
Soot, creosote, and debris are cleared from the flue as part of the visit.
We look at the condition of the flue and liner for cracks, gaps, and deterioration.
Spalling, cracking, crumbling, and loose brick, top to bottom.
Recessed, cracked, or missing mortar that lets water into the wall.
Cracks, crumbling, and whether the crown is shedding water away from the brick.
The seal where the chimney meets the roof: lifted, rusted, or caulk-patched metal.
How it works
No guesswork and no surprises. You know what's wrong and what it costs before any work begins. If we uncover more damage, we stop and get your approval first.
